Negative: The accommodation is not worth the price. Overpriced tourist trap. Same goes for the food. The expensive Tajin for dinner was one of the least tasty we had in Morocco. Breakfast very poor.

Positive: We stayed at Dar Moha Dades for one night on our way to Merzouga. Although it was a short stay, it left a lasting impression on us. What stood out most was not the accommodation itself, but the incredibly warm welcome we received. This is a family home in the Dades Valley, and while the accommodation is simple and not luxurious, the hospitality is truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such genuine warmth—welcomed with tea and biscuits and made to feel completely at home. That evening, we had dinner, and the food was absolutely fabulous—fresh, homemade, and full of flavour. Over the course of our trip, we stayed in many different places, but I can honestly say I had the best night’s sleep here. It was the most restful night of our entire 10-night trip. The following morning was just as special. We had breakfast as the sun rose over the mountains behind the house—a beautiful and peaceful experience. We were served freshly made local bread, still warm, and we simply couldn’t get enough of it. Dar Moha Dades may be simple, but the kindness, hospitality, and authenticity of the hosts make it truly unforgettable. A very special place to stay.

Positive: Very friendly staff. Served us tea and dinner as soon as we arrived. Really convenient stop during our passage from Merzouga to Marrakech. Had breakfast while the sun rose beyond the ridge in the horizon on their wide terrace.

Positive: Wow, I don't even know where to begin! Our experience staying at Moha and his family was incredible. I wish we had had more time there - it was just a break point in the drive from Merzourga to Marrakesh. The best way to describe what if feels like it is being back home. We were immediately greeted by Moha's sister with a big smile and a hug. We sat down and were offered mint tea (the BEST I had in 2 weeks in Morocco) and some snacks. We talked and shared our stories with Moha, his sister and his 90 year old mum. We then got a "tour" of their beautiful property and their garden and everything they grow themselves. The room was basic but comfortable with everything we needed. The balcony was so peaceful to seat at, read, talk and enjoy the views... We opted to have dinner at the property and Moha's sister prepared the most delicious couscous dish! The breakfast was also amazing. It was a short stay but the one stay in Morocco which filled my heart. I hope to be back one day!
